Strategic Solution

Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) bespoke research on brand and AED awareness. Based on our findings, we recommended the creation of a cause awareness campaign for Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

The Exordium Group created a nationwide campaign, Keep the Beat, to raise brand awareness, raise awareness of SCA and raise funds for the placement of AEDs in schools. This campaign was driven by a music partnership with world renowned musician, James Taylor.

To extend the campaign reach we negotiated partnerships with leading for profit and non-profit entities across the country including American Medical Response, the nation's number one ambulance service, American Red Cross, and leading hospitals in each market. In partnership with the Medtronic Foundation we recognized SCA heroes in major communities and worked with Mayor's to declare "Keep the Beat Day" in their cities. The campaign was integrated across direct and indirect sales channels, direct marketing, public relations, print, television, radio, on site and digital.
